What is a head without a body? um…it’s a head, but here it is with a body. You know that part of a project where you can really see what exactly it is you’re doing? I’m there. The best feeling in the world.
Making progress on a puppet. It’s a little sloppy because I was just playing with the foam to make sure it fit the head….and it does! Woohoo! It’s a smaller puppet than I’m used to so I’m still uncertain about it…but we’ll see :-)
I’m starting another one of these crazy things. I have an awesome plan for it. We’ll see how it goes.
The upcoming Documentary ‘I Am Big Bird’ has a kickstarter. In case ya’ll didn’t know I love Sesame Street and Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch. I just had to spread the word. :-)
Here’s a better shot of the teeth. Made with makeup sponges and sprayed blue a liquid fabric paint. After the blue paint dried I covered the teeth with glow in the dark fabric paint that worked more like puffy paint. I sponged it on so it ended up looking streaky..which works out great for the teeth.
